I have tried to port forward the SSH port on the ADSL router, that is not working.
Tell what exactly you did post your IPTABLE rule and also the IP of RHL box.
What were the steps which you tried and how you came at conclusion that it did not worked.
I have an ADSL router, Linux box sits behind this ADSL router. In the ADSL I have forwarded port 22 and 8101.
So that client can connect to the Linux application through the internet with the wan IP and port 8101.
You still have to connect to port 22, since 22 is forwarded to 8101
