Hi guys,
I have two Ubuntu virtual machines (a client and a server) connected to the same network, labeled as LAB1, using a Network NAT configuration. Well, after installing openssh on both virtual machines, I have tried to ssh from the client to server typing
Code:
ssh user1@server.com
but I get always the following message(even if the password is right!):
What is in /home/micheleclient/.ssh/ ??
And the debug suggests port 2222
so what is in /home/micheleclient/.ssh/config
Sanitize if you share.
Dear,
I was able to solve my problem just installing two new virtual machine, one with openssh-client package and the other with the openssh-server package. I was wrong because when I typed: ssh user1@server_machine, the user1 wasn't on the server side! I was using ssh in the wrong way. That's all.
Thanks to all.
