ssh-agent overload

Hi,

I'm running Redhat Enterprise WS v4 and my issue is that when I type in ps -aux | grep ssh-agent I get over 30 lines returned and I was wondering if this is normal. It appears as though I have 'ssh-agent -s' running from weeks ago (actually from the last time the machine was rebooted). I don't know if having these process running does anything to the machine, but I can't figure why there are so many and why they haven't died. Is it a problem to have tons of ssh-agent processes running and never dying? If so, what can I do to kill them off, besides doing it manually? Thanks so much.
