Slow internet connection on multiple linux distros but fast connection on windows

Symptoms:
  • Less than 1 mb/s download speed
  • Frequent disconnections from the network forcing me to re-connect to it
  • Random fluctuations in speed from 45/kbs up to 600/kbs
  • Solid constant network speed of 50/mbs on windows

Troubleshooting methods already tried:
  • Restarting router
  • Trying two different network adapters(Currently using the faster adapter Tp-Link TL-WN822N)
  • Trying both linux mint and ubuntu
  • Disabling power management for each network adapter
  • Disabling IPv6
  • Updating network drivers

If anyone can help me troubleshoot this, I would really appreciate this!

Hi, you will need to post more info on your Linux OS, setup, how you connect (what app) and such, check the first link in my signature(#8. E.g: ...).
