Setting up popa3d and sendmail to work as mail server

Hello-

I would like to set up a mail server that people from remote computers can access. I already
have a domain (badger.homelinux.org), and it allows MX(yes, it's dyndns.org, the client is built into my router). I want to use popa3d and sendmail,
because I already got close to getting them work, I just get errors everytime I send a message to my pop3 server. I already have popa3d and sendmail installed, I just have to figure out how
to configure it properly. Only about 5-10 people will be using it. Also, I heard something about
how you can run them in ident? What is that? Any suggestions/links?
Thanks.

If pop is running, do you have port 110 open from your router or firewall? Can you connect locally from your that machine or from an internal networked machine?

I can login

Port 110 is open on my router, and you can login to it through the internet and through a LAN.
It's just whenever it receives something, the email address that sent it will get a returned message
error, with stuff about how the message was relayed back to the sender.
