samba should work?


i get an error message when trying to connect my windows machine to the domain of samba or even to browse a workgroup share
windows keeps saying
the network path not found

when i restore the default smb.conf everything works ok

so i dunno

got it working. heh primary domain controller is cool in samba
it was a line in my smb.conf saying host allow = 127.0.0.1 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0
and my internal network is 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0
