samba server
Hi,
I have installed Fc4 on my sytem 4 days back..nw i would like to confiure smb server..on my stem...
i made some changes to /etc/samba/smb.conf file....
now i am able to access the sytem from others also...what my code like this
[movies]
path = /mnt/windows
guest ok = yes
#valid users = chaitanya
public = yes
browseable = yes
#hosts allow = 172.16.20. 172.17.3.102 172.17.3.16 172.16.22.11 172.17.3.186
[home]
path = /home/chaitanya
#valid users = chaitanya
public = yes
browseable = yes
#hosts allow = 172.16.20. 172.17.3.102 172.17.3.16 172.16.22.11 172.17.3.186
[uploads]
path = /home/chaitanya/uploads
valid users = chaitanya

browseable = yes
writable = yes
#hosts allow = 172.16.20. 172.17.3.102 172.17.3.16 172.16.22.11 172.17.3.186
movies and home can be accessed by public.i.e anyone..but uploads can be only accessable by chaitanya( i think so)..but how can he access taht...without password..or something...
finally what i wants..is ...
i want to put user name and password for specific folder to access that...
how it possible..
