I have my gentoo linux box set up to share files with other windows machines on the LAN using samba. I have used a win2k machine on the LAN to successfully connect to the box and transfer files. Even though I didn't change any samba settings, it suddenly stopped working. I have restarted the samba daemon, but that did not fix it. I get the error message:
NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME
Here is some output when I try to use localhost to connect to the samba server from the same box:
