Samba performance tweaks


Is it possibleto make it run faster. I would like to tweak both my linux samba server and my XP professional clients. By the way one of the clients is actually emulated using vmware.

Oops i almost forgot, mention the above line in your smb.conf in global section.

& also keep

debug level = 0 (if possible, its not zero by default)
This function is for logging.
