SAMBA ERRORS and TOTAL INFO PLS HELP


Ok here are my settings.. still not getting full functionality from Samba.. maybe auth through the domain shouldnt be done * .. if anyone can help me just get this working even in NON domain mode id be happy

here is what i can show you now..

Oh i think is resolving using DNS.. but i can use


smbclient fine to the laptop and myself.. i can ALSO run the

mount /mnt/laptop and it uses the noauto line in my fstab here and does fine.. asking for my password.. my problem is the reverse .. laptop accessing the linux box

//mjhindma2-mobl/linux /mnt/laptop smbfs noauto,owner,rw,username=mfg_mjhindma,workgroup=amr 0 0
