I’m not really sure what you need here, but I’m guessing you want to me able to make a samba share on your Linux box and then have the to windows machines access without passwords/usernames??
If that’s right then open up your smb.conf file and make the following changes:
Security = share
Guest account = samba or whatever account is on your machine
Then make the share
[share]
Path = /home/share
Guest account = ok
Read only = no
Public = yes
Then give the samba user no password in the command line type ‘smbpasswd samba’ and set no password.
Then make sure that the directory /home/share is readable/writeable to everyone
Chmod –R a+rwx /home/share
sorry for wasting your time if i miss understood.
