run multi-domains in Postfix

What is the best way to have multi domains recognize by Postfix?

1) running multi-instances? If this is the case, what need to be done to run 2 or more instances simultaneously with each instance for each domain.

Or

2) setup what in the main.cf file to accept multi-domains?

Please let me know what is your experience with both items above. Thanks!
