Rsync Backup From Windows To Linux Problem

Hi, I'm having a problem trying to back up files from a windows 2000 server to a linux machine using rsync.

On the Windows machine, I installed cygwin and got ssh running.

So from the linux machine i'm trying to use rsync to backup a directory on the windows machine. Rsync starts to work, builds the file list, starts transferring and then freezes.

I can copy the whole directory using scp, but I'd like to set up hourly rsync backups.

So any suggestions on fixing it so that rsync doesn't freeze would help.

Thanks!
