removed network manager in Kali


so i was messing around with my kali linux install and i have so far got things i want set up how i would like them with the KDE interface and such but i managed to somehow uninstall the Network manager and can not seem to get internet connectivity back either via wired connection or wifi....how do i go about reinstalling the network manager? i tried running wired and doing ifconfig eth0 up followed by dhclient then trying to reinstall the network manager with apt-get install network-manager-KDE but get the following readouts:

reinstall it from the live cd
it is a live OS that "can" be installed
