Remote dialin using a ssh and a GPRS modem ?
We have a remote climate monitoring unit running on a minimalist Debian Woody setup in the backblocks of NZ, that I would like to be able to dial into (and thus avoid expensive travel costs). It doesn't have a landline available, but is within cellphone reach, thus the proposed plan is to use a GPRS modem to dial into the system, perhaps with mgetty running at the other end.
Does anyone know if this is feasible, or if there is a better way of achieving the same thing ?
Cheers,
mj
