tlan LQ Newbie Registered: Aug 2003 Location: Chicago, IL USA Distribution: Debian 8 Jessie *gnome /kde. Ubuntu mate Posts: 18 Rep:	Remote access through pppd Can someone point me in the right direction to get remote access working I cannot find any resources for this. I have a RH9 router with USR external modem connected tom com1. linux can see the nmodem fine. I am trying to enable it so I can dialin to the server and get internet access. when traveling. I have two nics eth1 and 0 with hosts on eth0 and the internet on eth1. Internet work on the local lan no problem.
