Question about sk_buff

When a new skbuff is allocated in net device drivers, what raw data is included inside the skbuff?

only the MAC header + Data (IP header and etc.)
or MAC header + data + CRC ?

PS: what is the difference between "len" field and "data_len" field in skbuff?

thx
