QMAIL Configure SMTP_AUTH

Hi all,

i have tried many days to do this but i could not solve it.

I have successfully install qmail with smtp-auth enabled, meaning my telnet results are

xxx:~# telnet xxx 25
Trying xxx...
Connected to xxx.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 xxx ESMTP
ehlo
250-172.19.164.153
250-AUTH LOGIN CRAM-MD5 PLAIN
250-AUTH=LOGIN CRAM-MD5 PLAIN
250-STARTTLS
250-PIPELINING
250 8BITMIME

I try rcpt to and i cannot send mail to any email server except my localhost which is supposed to be the case, fine. However, i would like to configure such that any user telnet-ing into my server needs to authenticate themselves before they can even send to any mailing list of localhost.

Is it possible to do this in the first place? and how can i configure it. thanks a lot
