To pass kernel parameters you edit the pxelinux.cfg/default file (or the oe based on the MAC address if you've filled up the pxelinux.cfg/ with different files). Use the append option. For example:
Code:
default testlinux
prompt 1
timeout 1500
display bootmenu.txt
label testlinux
  kernel vmlinuz
  append initrd=initrd.img

i have tried 3 different options but none of them ok:

all-generic-ide
ide=all-generic
linux=all-generic-ide

eg.
label 5
kernel c5.1/vmlinuz
append initrd=c5.1/initrd.img ramdisk_size=6801 method=http://192.168.1.1/iso/c5.1 ip=dhcp all-generic-ide

pls kindly advise

if i use cdrom to install, all-generic-ide could detect the HDD.

if using pxe install, HDD could not be detected.
