Problems with mac filtering.. i think.

I have used the search box and found nothing.

Ok I have a laptop that boots from usb to linux (fedora 8) and internally to windows xp media center. Now, when in windows mode I can accsess the internet just fine. When in Linux however, not so much. I have the right drivers and all that I have everything in order. I can even assosicate with the AP fine.. the AP also, has no encryption. but, it does have mac filtering. and i am authenticated for windows. my mac is the same in linux but i can't get internet...

Now, at my house i can get internet just fine using the config file i made "ifcfg-wlan0" however not where i am now. here are the things I have to show you what i am talking about.

(the ifcfg file for wlan0)
DEVICE=wlan0
BOOTPROTO=dhcp
ONBOOT=yes
TYPE=wireless
MODE=managed
ESSID='CARRIAGE-WAP'
CHANNEL=6

#KEY=off
#ESSID='Jim@Home'
#CHANNEL=1

#ESSID='CARRIAGE-WAP'
#CHANNEL=6
#KEY=617A6279637864776576667567

as you can see i just #(comment) off the other networks.

iwlist command)
