Problems Adding Privleged Users on Proftpd-1.2.8

Allright, I'm still trying to find an FTP server that I like. I used WU and ditched it, and a bunch of others.
I can't seem to add anything but anonymous on Proftpd. If anyone could help with the configuration? like a sample from /usr/local/etc/proftpd.conf or what the user and group settings should be.

THANK YOU!

Your best bet is to describe your current setup, what you are trying to achive, in a little more detail, and post your proftpd.conf file.
