Problem with res_query() function.

Hello Everybody,

I have a following problem with the res_query() function in the "-lresolv" library. I am trying to get the "mx" records of several domains in a for loop using
POSIX thread library. But the problem is with some specific domains; the "mx" records of which are not getting resolved eventhough they exists.
(e.g. consider the domain "testdomain" is a name of the domain which is giving problem)

1. In my program res_query() returns "Host name lookup failure" error for this
"testdomain" eventhough its "mx" records exists. (tried using command, "dig testdomain mx")

2. but res_query() returns correct "mx" record if "testdomain" is the only domain supplied to my program.

Can anybody please help me in this regard???

Regards,
Girish
