Problem with network configuration

I'm trying to configure my laptop to get it connected to the internet using Ethernet connection(broadband).

Make of the Laptop - Dell Inspiron 9300

OS - Linux 9

Ethernet card - Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller

As the network device control was displaying inactive status for the device eth0, I tried to configure it using network configuration wizard. I'm unable to find the correct Adapter.

I'm using Lilo.

Can any one help me out in configuring my nework adapters.

Thanks in advance
