problem with ldap

i have configured ldap with samba domain controller on a suse 9.1 pro.
i have a strange problem:
in some previous stats, i was able to browse the network computers from windows by right click on (My Computer)-->Manage-->local groups -->then ii select groups in the domain, this should show all my ldap users entries

but now i can't, why? i don't know!

the error message that i face is : no objects are available in this location!

a look in my /var/log/messages give me the error message:

Oct 19 14:47:15 comp-srv slapd[18167]: <= bdb_equality_candidates: (uid) index_param failed (18)
Oct 19 14:47:40 comp-srv slapd[18167]: <= bdb_equality_candidates: (uid) index_param failed (18)
Oct 19 14:47:40 comp-srv slapd[18167]: <= bdb_equality_candidates: (uid) index_param failed (18)
Oct 19 14:47:40 comp-srv slapd[18167]: <= bdb_equality_candidates: (uid) index_param failed (18)

i need this issue urgently because i want to test if i can apply a group policy on windows clients that will login to samba server
thanks
