Printing from windoz thru VectorLinux

I have been doing a lot of searching and reading but I can't seem to get my windows xp machine to print through my VectorLinux machine. I am able to browse to the printer xp tells me I am connected, the job travels out of the xp machine (I can see the network activity). And it don't go any further, don't print, no error message. I can connect to the VectorLinux machine and print via TightVNC.
I am going to try any and all suggestions regardless if I have already tried them.

Do you have your network allowed in cupsd.conf? You need to add a line Allow From 192.168.0.* to Location section.

Thanks Emerson
Sorry for the delay I added the line to cupsd.conf and it didn't work. I think that the best way to do this is to allow windows to print directly to the printer using it's driver. What files to I need to modify to try this smb.conf?

All suggestions accepts

There are [too?] many HOWTO's and tutorials. I admit despite I've always got it working with more or less effort I still am in dark.
One useful CUPS HOWTO
