pptpd connection established, ping doesn't work

hi there,

i'm trying to set up a vpn through pptp.
therefore i installed the pptpd on a debian etch
server.
the clients now seem to be able to connect,
but they neither can't ping or access any
machine within the network. the server in
the log says "accepting package" on ping,
so obviously it receives the packages at least...

any ideas?

thanks,

toby
