port problem


how can I reset my firewall rules to open ports 5800 and 5900 so that I can use VNC

If you are using redhats firewall configuration tool then jsut run "lokkit". If you manually set rules then try:
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 5800 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 5900 -j ACCEPT
