Pop3

Hi there,
I've got a problem accessing pop3 on my linux server (RedHat 7.1) with WinMe Outlook express.

On the server I have ipop3d correctly installed and running.

In the hosts.allow file I've got ipop3: ALL.

I can connect to pop3 server port 110 via telnet without any problem.

Connecting with outlook express I receive a "connection interrupted" error.

What could be the problem?

Thanks!

Does anything get put in your logs?? Have you tried connecting to your POP3 daemon using a different machine/different software? You may get different/more useful error messages... It might also be worth looking at M$'s knowledge base on their website to see what the usual causes of that error are.

HTH

Jamie...
