Question ping: sendmsg: no buffer space available?

I've just set up my Linux box as a router. It takes internet from a wireless adapter connected to my router, and routes it out of a wired Ethernet card. It seems to run ok, but occasionally (seems usually under moderate/high internet traffic) it stops and gives me this message when i ping the wireless router:

ping: sendmsg: no buffer space available

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !

Hello tjyorkshire,

I have the same problem (Suse 10.2).
How did you succeed to solve it?

Thanks

i haven't yet!, it only seems to be happening when there is a high demand on the wireless adapter (perhaps i should have put this in the wireless networking category). As it is saying "no buffer space available" i wonder if there is a way to clear the buffer... . If i get anywhere i will make another post!
