Question open source routing platform


Can anyone please tell me what is the technical/non technical difference between quagga and zebra routing platform ? and if any one knows other open source routing platform other than quagga, zebra, xrop, vyatta. I will be very thankful to you.

There are plenty of real hardware devices and plenty of software that can be used on common computers to act like a hardware device.

It might be more simple for us to ask what you intend to do with the router.
