nfs mountung


Dear ALL,

I have two linux systems ,one in India and other in Taiwan.I want to mount a nfs folder of linux system in Taiwan to linux system in India.

The network configuration of two systems are as follows:

Linux system in Taiwan

1)IP address-192.168.0.200
2) server IP address -122.111.111.24
3)DNS -168.95.192.1


Linux system in Taiwan

1)IP address-192.168.0.1
2) server IP address -212.222.211.24
3)DNS -202.54.10.2

How can i mount a nfs folder of taiwan linux sustem "/mnt/aaa" in /home in linux of India?

First of all, I would suggest you hide the IP addresses.

Then, I suggest reading the following two documents:

http://tldp.org/HOWTO/NFS-HOWTO/security.html
http://howtoforge.com/nfs_ssh_tunneling

Basically, you would want to encrypt NFS traffic traveling the Internet. NFS over SSH is the easiest option.
