nForce, and Networking

i am currently using Mandrake 9.0, and the internet fails to connect. i am currently on a cable connection, through my NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Adapter (onboard).

the problem is, i have 2 LAN cards. it detected my other, Realtek RTL8139/810X Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC, during the installation, and asked if i had another LAN card on my system. i said yes, and searched for the driver to the nForce, but to no success. on the internet, i could not find the driver either (through windows).

my question is: where can i find a driver for the new nForce ethernet cards, (or is it listed in mandrake, maybe i did pass it up, which is not likely), and how can I install it? any help will be appreciated...

thanks

ok, i found the drivers for my nForce card, after downloading i suppose ill mount my 2nd harddrive (fat32) but.. i have no clue what to do after that......

i suppose if i manage to install these, it will detect it as eth1? (my other card is listed as eth0 i believe)

i also realized that some spec's on my computer would be nice... so here goes:

Mandrake 9.0 (dual booted with Windows XP Professional, service pack 1)
2 harddrives: 20 gig (windows NTFS, linux ext3) 80 gig (data, FAT32 format)
Chaintech 7NJS Motherboard, nForce2 chipset.

i believe thats all the relevent information that you need..

designed for a different architecture means it's supposed to run on another type of computer, say an apple or a sparc... what's the full name of the rpm you've got?

i tried the one listed on the page as:

NVIDIA_nforce-1.0-0248.mdk90up_2.4.19_16.athlon.rpm

that one did not work, so i tried to rpmbuild the source (downloaded off the bottom of the page), as i typed in

rpmbuild --rebuild nforce-1.0-0248.src.rpm

and it gave me a list of errors. (yes i did cd to the directory). i would list the errors, but i have to use windows to get on the internet, seeing i cant get my LAN card up
