Networking with Windows

I would first like to apologize if I don't explain this clearly, or if someone has already asked a similar question. I have searched and have not found anything specifically geared toward what I need.

I currently have a Linksys router using DHCP to assign addresses to my home computers(Windows, Mac) and a server(Linux Mandrake). I have it accepting requests for a static IP and forwarding HTTP, POP, etc. by port number to the Linux server. I am going to be adding a Windows server and am wondering if either of these possibilities would work, or if I should choose a different way.

1) Setup BIND to somehow send requests for specific domains to the Windows server. Basically I would like some sites to run on the Windows server, and some to run on the Linux server and I would like BIND to take care of this.

2) Somehow setup my router to assign static IPs to the two servers, and use DHCP for the rest. This doesn't seem like it is possible though.

Any help/advice or links would be greatly appreciated.

You are thinking about this from the perspective of the router not the systems. The router is running a dhcp server and the systems run dhcp clients and therefore pick up a lease ( an ip address ) from the dhcp server. You can change this by assigning static addresses to the network card attached to the router and then tell the router to forward requests to the respective addresses. Whether your router has BIND configuration I don't know. The router would have to decide which request to send to which box.
