I have setup a 16-nodes network. Each machine in the network are identical (the users, the software, etc). For some purpose, I need to do some setting in every machine. However, I don't want to do the same thing for 16 times. Any idea for such task?
We'd need to know what setting it is you'd like to set to know if it is even possible, and if it is then someone might be able to tell you. Also could you include more details of what OS and software the machines are running.
Thanks for reply. Suppose there are several users on each machine (e.g. userA, userB ...). I need to do the following
1) to create a folder in a user's home directory
2) to create a common folder for any user (if possible, change to root and set the privilege of that folder)
3) run a piece of shell located in a user's home directory
