ncpmount codepageproblem

I have a problem using codepages with ncpmount!

as I use

# ncpmount -S SERVERNAME -U USER -P PASSWORD -C whereever -u USER

It works fine but I do not get any umlauts. As some diretorys are name "Über" or what ever.

So i learned that it might work if I user the '-y' option.

# ncpmount -S SERVERNAME -U USER -P PASSWORD -y iso-8859-1 -C WHEREVER -u USER

but so I got the follwing answer

Warning: Unable to load NLS charsets: Invalid request code

So i tried:

# ncpmount -S SERVERNAME -U USERNAME -P PASSWORD -p cp437 -C WHEREVER -u USERNAME

And i got

ncpmount: Server not found (0x8847) when trying to find SERVERNAME

So I finally tried:

# ncpmount -S SERVERNAME -U USERNAME -P PASSWORD -p cp850 -C WHEREVER -u USERNAME

And then i got

Warning: Unable to load NLS charsets: Invalid request code

So I have no idea any more!

Once again:

The first option works but I can not see the diretorys with umlauts like "Ämter" and so on.

Thanks for each idea...I keep searching the Internet....
