namecheap DDNS update using lynx

Hello,
You may be aware of namecheap.com (the domain registrar) who allows dynamic update of ip address for registered domain.
They allow update of ip address through a simple mechanism of typing the following URL into your browser:

http://dynamicdns.park-your-domain.c...omain_password[&ip=your_ip]

for example, in myip.johnsmith.com, myip is the host_name, johnsmith.com is the domain. Password will be provided in the dynamic dns page. IP is optional, if you don't specify any IP, the IP from which you are accessing the URL will be set for the domain.

Now my question is, I am trying to do the above using lynx browser on my fedora 3 station. This is the exact syntax I used on my terminal:

lynx http://dynamicdns.park-your-domain.c...ord=mypassword

However, nothing is getting updated at the other end... How do I know if the above command was successfully run?

When I run the above command and I do a ps -A I see that "lynx" process is still running and I manually have to kill it...

Any ideas????

Thanks in advance

Following is what I get when I do the URL update on my IE browser and the update is successful. The output is in XML...

does lynx support XML?? could it be that reason??
