Greetings!
I'm successfully sending MultiFrame UDP packets from Cygwin running under Windose, and I have software running on other Windows boxes under Cygwin which receives the frames successfully.
On the TS-7250 Linux board from Technologics, however, the MultiCast frames are not received. In fact using a RAW IP socket to sniff the Ethernet LAN on the TS7250 board, my MultiCast frames aren't even sniffed so I assume they're being filtered at the MAC layer
Does anyone know whether Multicast Routing must be enabled in the Linux Kernel before one may receive Multicast frames?
Strange that it works on everything but the TS7250 board. Technologics has not offered a response to my inquiry request for ideas so I thought I'd finally register here and ask for inspiration.
Thanks!
