making a cluster network

Dear all,

Quick question which has been bugging me for a very long time. I am making a cluster. But where do I start. I have two load balancers which I installed heartbeat in.

Then I installed Keepalived.

I think that is fine, but apparently... What is next?

Need open source solution

Help me please

The first step is knowing why you are building a cluster. Is it for compute intensive CPU aggregation? Is it for a SAN? Is it for web services? Is it for a database?

The next step is to Google for a howto on that subject.

Its for failover, web servers and databases.

I tried googling, but i cant find a place to start. I tried doing

yum groupinstall Clustering

But somehow, i go into yum.repo.d and nothing there.

How do i continue.?

Thanks

This is the first link when I Googled.
You should open a new thread for your yum problem.
