Hi,

I want to use a laptop to connect an Xbox original to a wireless network. I have an old dell inspiron with a trashed screen (but works with external screen). I want to be able to plug in the xbox into the LAN card, and the laptop connect to my wireless router upstairs via the wireless card.

Is there a distro that matches that description? Most of the ones I've looked at are for acting as an AP, rather than connecting to one. A Busybox based version looks good at the moment.

Ideally, it should'nt require a hard drive / storage device, or take up more than 60MB (RAM - video mem)

Of course rules are meant to be broken, so going over these slightly shouldn't be too much of a problem...

Both network interfaces are PCMCIA.

You could make the Linux box act as a bridge:

Or probably easier make it act as a router and forward.

The above example adds some aliases that you don't need but has some good information on setting up forwarding.
