Login from a differnet system

Hello gang! I have a strange issue. I have a laptop running Suse 9.3 and using ldap for login to a SLES 9 + OES linux server. This laptop is working perfect but the question is: when users go to another system running any OS and using ldap to login to the same server, they are unable to login. Get an error "kde encountered a critical error" and no one can login.

My more diect question is can users login to the network when already logged in to the network on another pc? When i look in iManager (novell component), i see that all users have an associtated IP address and MAC address. I am not sure but i think this may be the problem (a different IP and MAC address). However, admin's or anyone else can not change the IP and MAC address in iManager.

Chris
