linux port question

Hi,

how do we see what application is running in specific port, I checked /etc/service file and it is not showing there.

tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4588 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

How do I know what applicaiton is running on port 4588 ?

Thanks
