Linux Mesh Networking

Hi,

I am trying to setup mesh networking using atheros network adapters...

I have done modprob zd1211rw - the driver necessary for mesh networking, it also shows while I do lsmod | grep zd1211...

m using Fedora17,

and I try to configure first my card into mesh networking mode but every time I fire the command

iw phy phy0 interface add moni0 type monitor

I get an error

command failed: Operation not permitted (-1)

When I do iw list it shows...

Supported interface modes:

IBSS
Managed
AP
AP/VLAN
monitor
mesh point

Thanks...

You have to put sudo in front of the command.

sudo iw phy phy0 interface add moni0 type monitor
