I have a linksys router BEFSR41 the dns numbers look look the same. But i can ping google.com ip numner but i can't even surf the net for some reason. Not sure what i am doing wroung.
name resolution is what turns your ip into www.yourdomain.com. it translates the text of yourdomain.com into the address of the computer serving it. It is what makes google.com =xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
how bout setting yor dns search path to your router?
