Unhappy

I have the same set up (distro + NIX) that SnoozeBar has, and I am having the same problem. In linuxconf I, too, set up everything the way it should be ... gateway, subnet mask, IP, etc. etc. When I do a insmod tulip, it shows tulip.o as being installed, but also says 'Device or resource busy' (not sure if that's normal).. Anyways, eth0 isn't showing up in my ifconfig, and I have no clue how to make it recognize the fact that I do have a NIC installed. Any help would be appreciated :|

Oh, and when I do a:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/network start

IT brings up lo interface, but I get a fail trying to bring up eth0....
