First decide what your desire means, as in the basic functions that u may want...for example: filesharing, internet connection sharing, time syncronisation etc, and then search for info on said items...

I want to do file sharing and internet connection sharing. but it seems its not easy to find information for suse 9.0....
any ideas??

I'm have no experience with Suse in particular....but i believe the software requirements would be the same. Samba for file sharing and the use of iptables for the firewall modification....

I had a link to a thread related to iptables configuration for sharing the internet connection...but can't locate it at present....i post it when i do....put a search would provide many related threads

I will try! but first i have some ideas how to configure using yast...kinda like in windows xp....
