I have a Linux RH 7.2 box wich s configured to be a server (just for fun ;-) )

Now, as root, I can use sendmail to send mail locally (to other users in the system)... I use KMail to do this... (KMail configuration)
This works under root (me)

when I log in as a regular user (delruet), and I start KMail, (which has the same configuration as KMail under root... When trying to send a mail (using sendmail) to for instance 'root'... it keeps trying and trying and trying... but the mail is not send... what is going on heere, can anyone tell me?

and there is a second problem :smash:
When trying to get my local mail (type 'mail' in yoru shell) or my local account, the KMail application running under 'root' does this without any problems, but the KMail application running under 'delruet' (regular user) seems not to be able to get my mails from my box...
nevertheless, when I go to my shell and type in 'mail', I see that some mails are present

You might wonder why I use this local mail thing, but I am not the only one using this box, and this is easier to post problems other users have...
