Is there a program that can log connections and disconnections to a router

Is there a program that can keep records on who was connected to my router at what time and when they disconnected from it. I want to be able to log information on who was connected to my router and at what time they connected to it and disconnected from it.

What kind of router do you have?

Because my Cisco ASA has the capability to point to a "log server" that I set up; which I'm using to keep track of the logs.

Most routers have a log and a way to export or mail the data at specified intervals.

Use openwrt on your router if possible, get another router which does what you want.
