I got a nasty Hawking printer server that is not worth a darn..
The stupid thing now won't work and calling tech support all they want to know is what virus do I have??? BS support if you ask me.
What I am thinking is taking an old box and making it into a Linux workstation with the printer shared- but the w2k clients need to be able to connect to it.
If this is possible and how would I go about it and how difficult is it to do.
I know I can take w2k machine and do it but it would so much better if I could use Linux that way I would never have to reboot or worry about it being up.
