IPTABLES Service timeouts

Hi there,

I am in the process of constructing a new IP Masquerading server that I am going to install the stronger iptables firewall on. The problem is that I play online games especially Everquest and I have problems with the default UDP timeout duration being too short. In ipchains under 2.2 kernel (my current configuration) this is easy to fix but the timeouts are hardwired into the 2.4 kernel. Last time I looked at upgrading to the 2.4 kernel I found a website that gave instructions on how to hack the kernel to change the timeouts. I cannot find the damn website again and I have lost the printout I made of it! Does anyone know the url of a site that can guide me through these kernel changes please?

Thanks

Paul
