IPMP under linux

Hi

I would like to plug my linux server machine into infrastructure and support redundancy and fail-over on NIC cards.

To meet the redundancy requirement I will configure Ethernet Bonding.

I don't know how to and is there such availability in Linux at all, like IPMP under Solaris ?

thx for help.

Yes...it's called ethernet bonding, like you mentioned.

And you don't mention version/distro of Linux, or provide any details, so it's hard to tell you anything that Google can't...did you try to look this up??
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kern...ng/bonding.txt

There are many how-tos on Google, for specific distros.
